It’s hard to believe that a movie would be so bad and poor in quality that even Will Ferrell would deny it’s existence, but it exists and it aired this weekend on Lifetime. A Deadly Adoption, which also starred Kristen Wiig, aired Saturday night on Lifetime and was so bad not one person involved in the project advertised it would be showing…even the writers.
What was supposed to be a comedic satire of Lifetime melodramatic films turned out to just be a bad Lifetime melodramatic which had two of the top comedians in the acting business not being funny. Perhaps the deadpan attitude of the film was supposed to illicit laughter but fell flat upon execution, maybe it really was just THAT bad.
