Today in Rock History – March 4

Are you ready to learn some stuff? It’s March 4th and here’s what happened Today in Rock History!

It’s a bit of a slow day today. One major release today and that belongs to Fallen by Evanescence.

Say it with me: WAKE ME UP!

Two birthdays today and they are for Jeremiah Green of Modest Mouse and former Metallica bassist Jason Newsted.

We lost Keith Flint of The Prodigy in 2019.

And finally in 1994, Kurt Cobain spends 20 hours in a coma after overdosing on between 50-60 pills of Rohypnol (a prescription sedative) mixed with champagne during Nirvana’s European tour. Rumors spread that Cobain had died.

This has been Today in Rock History! Keep on Rocking, keep on Rolling! Check back tomorrow for your next rock history lesson!
