Today in Rock History – February 9th

Are you ready to learn some stuff? It’s February 9th and here’s what happened Today in Rock History!

Bit of a slow day but starting with Releases we have Morrison Hotel by The Doors (1970) and Where You Been by Dinosaur Jr (1993)!

With Birthdays today, we have Rachel Bolan of Skid Row and the late Jimmy “The Rev” Sullivan from Avenged Sevenfold!

We lost Ian McDonald of King Crimson and Foreigner in 2022.

And finally in 2009, Robert Plant won five Grammys, including Album of the Year, for his collaboration with Alison Krauss. (Did I mention it was a slow day?)
