In August, Corey Taylor performed the ‘SpongeBob Squarepants’ theme song with Tom Kenny – who voiced the titular character – at the Huntington Comic and Toy Convention.
Even though Taylor has performed for massive crowds for years, he said, “It’s not often that I get really nervous, and I was so nervous doing that — largely because we didn’t rehearse it. We just went up there and we were, like, ‘Okay, let’s, let’s have it,’ you know?”
Taylor noted of Kenny, “He was so cool and just so much fun and one of the nicest people I’ve ever met.”
The Slipknot frontman has been a fan of the cartoon for years and would watch the show with his son, Griffin.
