The jackpot for Saturday’s drawing has grown to an estimated $590 million, Powerball officials say. That’s just $500,000 shy of the 10th largest Powerball jackpot in history.
The news doesn’t mean you should toss out your ticket for Wednesday’s drawing just yet; three people matched five numbers, which are good for $1 million, Powerball officials say. The winning numbers were: 17, 24, 48, 62, and 68, with a Powerball number of 23.
