Me personally, I’m not a sweet tea kind of gal. But, I get it. People LOVE them some sweet tea—especially in the summer.
McAlister’s is capitalizing on the popularity of their particular blend this year by turning it into an ice cream. The restaurant chain has teamed up with Creamalicious to release the dessert on June 10, which just happens to be National Sweet Tea Day (it’s absolutely not a coincidence).
The Sweet Tea Ice Cream is made with a black tea ice cream and features lemon swirls and sugar cookie pieces, according to Chewboom.
Pints will be available in limited quantities at participating McCalister’s locations for $7.99 each, as well as online at Creamalicious’s website.
