Here’s the Pie Every State Was Searching for Pi Day

Yesterday was Pi Day . . . that’s P-I . . . because it was 3/14, and the first digits of pi are 3-1-4.  But everyone used it as a chance to focus on the OTHER “pie.”

Hoosier’s say their, “go-to,” pie is peanut butter?

Google just released a map showing the type of pie that people in every state disproportionately searched the most for Pi Day

There were 11 states that searched for different fruit pies, like apple or peach . . .

19 that went for a custard pie, like sour cream raisin or grasshopper . . .

Nine that picked a savory pie, like cheeseburger pie or crab pie . . .

Nine that had a chocolate or nut pie, like peanut butter or French silk . . .

And two that went for ricotta pie, which doesn’t fall into any of those categories.

I also learned there’s something called “possum pie,” which was the most searched pie in Arkansas.  It’s a chocolate layer pie and not made of, well, you know.
