Another Clothing Retailer Has Filed For Bankruptcy

Well, it looks like 2020 is carrying over into 2021 in some areas. Multiple companies filed for bankruptcy last year and so far at least one retailer has done so this year.

Christopher & Banks filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy on Thursday according to CNN, saying it’s the result of “financial distress resulting from the pandemic and its ongoing impact.”

The company said the majority of their stores will close and they might sell their website.

There are around 400 locations in 44 states including three in the Indianapolis area—in Plainfield, Greenwood and Noblesville.
