A Burger King Worker Is Busted for Stealing $30,000 from the Store in a Year

I had no idea in today’s card driven world that a BK had this much cash on hand. That alone is kind of impressive to me. Who robs a fast food joint though…oh this guy does.

There’s a 35-year-old guy named Daniel Andrews from Pelham, Alabama.  And last August, he came up with a plan to steal cash from his job at Burger King.

But instead of doing it the old fashioned way and just taking money out of the cash register, he created fake employees in the store’s computer, then managed to get them on the payroll . . . with their “pay” going directly to him.

Daniel managed to steal almost $30,000 over the course of the year . . . until he was caught.

He was just charged with theft, identity theft, and computer tampering.  The King would not be happy.
