Sophia’s Bridal Giving Free Wedding Gowns To Veterans, First Responders

Sophia’s Bridal & Tux in Greenwood is where I got my wedding dress. It’s been hanging in my closet since May, but next year I might get to wear it…unless 2021 is a lot like 2020.

If you didn’t know, wedding dresses are expensive. Mine was like $1300 and that’s on the lower end for a lot of designers. But later this month, some lucky people will be getting their dresses for free!

According to WTHR, the Sophia’s Bridal location in Columbus is teaming up with Brides Across America to offer designer gowns to active military members, veterans, health care workers and first responders.

Brides are invited to participate in the event on October 29 and 30.

To enter, scroll down to the Sophia’s event on the Brides Across America event’s page. Choose your dress size (remember bridal runs small) and reserve your spot.

Now there is a $50 registration fee that goes towards the 501c3. After you register, you’ll have to call Sophia’s to set up your appointment.

You will need to be able to provide proof of your occupation. I’d register ASAP because this event will fill up fast.
