I love Indianapolis, but if I had one gripe it would be the heart of Indianapolis…isn’t really the heart. We have Fountain Square, Mass Ave, Broad Ripple, and various other locations for our fun but our monument circle outside of a few touristy spots cannot be considered a true romp for Indy night life.
Starting in August SPARK looks to make the monument circle the spot this month with lots of activities each day of the week. Events like…
- Food Trucks
- Vinyl Exchange
- Traffic shut down and hang outs with ample seating
Maybe it’s not too different than things already down around town…but it is something to try and reinvigorate community interest in an otherwise boring but beautiful part of town! Check out their site and submit an idea here!
