We’ve all heard the older crowd lament and soap box about how Hip Hop is full of ignorance and crap music. Oh if only music were like the old days when things were smarter and full of meaning. Turns out that theory is in question as a recent study done by Musixmatch shows that both Eminem and Kanye West individually use a wider vocabulary through their music than folk legend and songwriter Bob Dylan.

Out of all rappers Eminem tops the chart in variety of words in songs with over 8,000. Jay-Z and Tupac fell within the 6,000 range, and Kanye at a little above 5,000. Dylan sat at around 4,000 words.
