Disturbed is teaming up with Incendium and Heavy Metal Entertainment to launch a series of comic books called Disturbed: Dark Messiah. There will be five issues in the series which are written by Llexi Leon and Tim Seeley, according to NextMosh.
There’s a lot going on when it comes to the plot, but basically a firefighter finds himself in a new world in the future. The Vengeful One, AKA The Guy, is there to guide him through the experience.
“Ever since ‘The Guy’ made his debut 20 years ago his evolution and transformation has only grown. We are excited to take ‘The Guy’ to the next level and bring his story to the forefront via both the comic book series and action figures. We can’t wait to share this next chapter with all of you,” the band said.
You can pre-order the first issue now, and it is set to ship in July. The Guy will get his very own action figure, and that will ship out in October.
