For those that were excited for the new Coach series debuting I’ve got some bad news for you…for those that had no clue continue with your lives. Deadline is reporting the show is dead before the first episode even had a chance to air!
For those who didn’t know about the new series it was set to take place 18 years after Coach Fox retired. Fox was to return to Football as an assistant coach to his son. NBC reportedly said no on the series after audiences commented that the show seemed a bit dated by today’s standards. Other issues may have arisen from the fact that the only returning cast member getting full payment for the series as opposed to per episode is Craig T. Nelson.
Was this show big when it was on the air? I remember it but I was young at the time so I may be remembering it wrong.
