When I first read “Play-Doh for grown ups,” I thought to myself that literally anyone can play with it — why would they think they can market it differently. That must have been my grown-up close-mindedness because I can totally see why it’s funny now.
They are scented with names that poke fun at the dumb things adults enjoy like mom jeans and fresh cut grass:
- Overpriced Latte (coffee)
- Mom Jeans (clean denim)
- Grill King (smoked meats)
- Dad Sneakers (rubber)
- Spa Day (floral)
- Lord of the Lawn (fresh cut grass)
I mean, who doesn’t want Play-Doh that smells like smoked meats? Also, I couldn’t tell you what “clean denim” smells like, but that wouldn’t stop me from buying it.

According to AdWeek, there’s not a product launch date… But surely it’ll come out in time for a 2020 Christmas because we’re gonna need something silly this year more than ever. Once it is made available, you’ll be able to get it from Walmart and Amazon.
