You never know what you’re going to find in a lake. Maybe a tire, maybe a dead body or if you’re Mark Hoppus…a baby deer.
The Blink-182 bassist/singer was out on a lake in Idaho according to SPIN, when he came across the small animal. He posted a video of the encounter on Instagram with the following caption:
“No idea how it got there. It was panicked, shivering, panting, tired, swimming in circles. I got on the swim step and we pulled up alongside it and I was able to get my arms around the bottom of its neck and tried to pull it up but it was too heavy.”
Apparently they followed alongside it towards the land. It eventually made it out of the water and ran away.
