NOW, I’m only that question because with Rihanna’s current hit featuring Drake, ‘Work’, RiRi has surpassed Michael Jackson for the most number one hits. This actually make Rihanna the third artist in music history with the most number one single.
Yesterday, ‘Work’ topped the Billboard Hot 100 charts, which just-so-happened to be the day Rihanna dropped the video for her hit song.
So, let me break this down for you:
Michael Jackson: 13 number one hits
Rihanna: 14 NOH
Mariah Carey: 18 NOH
The Beatles: 20 NOH
Futhermore, this is the second number one single for Drake (Hotline Bling only reached that #2 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart), both of which he was featured on a Rihanna track.
