David Draiman from Disturbed shaved his head and got his double labret chin piercing when he got a record deal, in order to create an “original” look that nobody else had.
In an interview with “Revolver“, he said, “It took [my parents] a while before they saw it and my mom cried. They were not happy.”
But he ditched the piercings in 2018. In a past interview with a German media outlet, he said they were a pain in the butt and he didn’t want to look like a “45-year-old Hot Topic kid.”
