Back in 2018, the Thirsty Scholar on E 16th Street abruptly closed, much to the chagrin of regular patrons. But now, after almost three years, the coffee and wine bar is set to reopen!
The original reopening date was scheduled for next month, but due to a car crash that damaged the exterior, the new opening date is April 1.
Thirsty Scholar will focus on pastries and such in the morning/afternoon and serve Tinker Coffee. Then, it will reopen in the evening to serve wine and beer according to the Indy Star.
