New Low-Cost Airline Coming To Indianapolis International Airport This Spring

I have never heard of Sun Country Airlines, but in May they will start operating out of the Indianapolis International Airport. Sun Country will start with one non-stop flight from Indy to Minnesota on May 28.

Then, in September, it will add a non-stop flight to Orlando.

“We are excited to extend our network and offer people access to even more low-cost vacation options, when they are ready to travel again,” said Sun Country Airlines CEO Jude Bricker told WTHR. “The past year has been a challenge for the travel industry but with increased access to COVID-19 tests and vaccinations, we’re starting to see that turnaround.”

Hopefully they expand soon because they offer flights to Mexico, the Caribbean and Central America from other cities.
