It seems like it’s been years since we’ve had one of these announcements. The USDA has confirmed a recall of about 43,000 pounds of ground beef according to Delish.

The beef was distributed from a New Jersey plant and was under the brand names Marketside Butcher and Thomas Farms. It went out to various locations, but one of the biggest one was Walmart.

June 1 was the production date and the freeze by date varied by the package but was between late June/early July.

You can see all of the specifics at Delish. If you purchased one of the items from Walmart, you should throw it away or better yet, return it for a refund.
