Before he found success with Linkin Park, Chester Bennington spent years as the front man for Grey Daze.

According to Rock Cellar Magazine, Chester planned to reunite with the guys before his death in 2017. Although he wasn’t able to make it happen, the group decided to re-record their old songs and release them on a new album.

The first song they’ve released is called “What’s In The Eye” and it features Chester Bennington’s original vocals along with a rewritten composition. And you know what…it’s not bad, especially since he was just 17 at the time.

Blabbermouth says the album will feature work from a slew of other artists like Chester‘s 23-year-old son Jaime BenningtonKORN’s Brian “Head” Welch and James “Munky” ShafferP.O.D.‘s Marcos CurielBUSH‘s Chris Traynor, as well as Ryan ShuckChester‘s bandmate in DEAD BY SUNRISE.
