The latest round of Rock and Roll Hall of Fame nominations have been revealed. There are 16 artists up for the honor this year including Soundgarden and Nine Inch Nails.
According to CNN, an artist has to have released their first recording 25 years prior to nomination. Apparently fans’ votes will be considered as well. You literally just have to Google “Vote Rock Hall 2020” and a ballot will come up through January 10.
The top five artists will then make up a fan ballot that will be tallied along with the fancy real ballots. Although the fans’ top choice at the actual museum for nominations was Mötley Crüe and they didn’t even get a nod.
Not sure how many artists end up actually making it in during the Induction Ceremony. It takes places on May 2, 2020.
