Many people love the departed King of Pop Michael Jackson, but still many others hold a very ugly incident over his head. We all know what the allegations were, and today an article by GQ in 1994 is making waves around the internet revealing things you likely never knew about MJ’s first child molestation case. Because the internet wasn’t widespread back in the day, and the news that Michael Jackson could be a child molester was a much more ratings driven headline.

Basically the father accusing Jackson was caught in several recorded conversations talking about how he planned to extort Jackson for money so that he could become a producer for the Mel Brooks film Men In Tights. He hoped that the mother of his son would lose custody of the child for putting him in the situation, and he would walk out a millionaire as Jackson would want to avoid a lengthy trial and settle out of court.
It also is worth mentioning the father of the boy committed suicide five months after Jacksons death in 2009.
Reddit once again brought me a plethora of knowledge I never knew before. In my mind it really changes everything in how I view the situation, and if true, really shines a tragic light on the end of Jackson’s career.
