A little pups life was spared thanks to some quick thinking by it’s veterinarian. Dogtime says Cloe was brought to the vet when she was having difficulty standing, not eating, and howling out as if she were in pain. After some tests the doctor confirmed that Cloe had ingested some antifreeze and her kidneys were failing. The doctor needed to flush Cloe’s system to save her life, so he thought fast and connected an IV drip to…vodka? What seemed a bit unorthodox ended up saving the puppy’s life after two days of treatment! Obviously do not try this on your own if your pet is sick! Take them to a vet!
