Without a doubt, prom is a highlight of the high school experience…but in the long run, it’s not that deep. That’s why when Fox 59 reported a teen from the Bahamas went to the prom IN AN AMBULANCE I nearly shook my head off my neck at the stupidity.
No she wasn’t injured, she was pretending to be “Sleeping Beauty” and only awoke from her stretcher after being kissed by her prom date. In my opinion the fact she wasn’t injured only makes it worse as someone who may have needed that ambulance had to wait while she was transported to prom…but maybe I’m too uptight. Is prom going out of control with teens today?
