38 is a tough year. You’re staring 40 dead in the face and realizing that you may very well have reached the halfway point in the chronicle that is your life. Most of you may get a small present, and you’re okay with that…you’ve gotten 37 great presents in your life already. It’s only normal.
Kanye West ain’t normal.
E! Online (who I’m assuming would be a pretty good source given they run her show) says Kim Kardashian-West celebrated the rappers 38th birthday by renting out the entire LA Staples center for a celebrity filled pick up basketball game. Justin Bieber, Pusha T, Tyga, are among a few names dropped for people playing on the court with Kanye and NBA star James Harden and 2 Chainz have been confirmed as coaches for the teams.
It doesn’t stop there…
Professional commentator John Salley will be commentating the game, and John Legend will be performing the national anthem!
And there’s even more than that!
Shaquille O’ Neal, Scottie Pippen, Kobe Bryant and several other NBA legends will be appearing on the jumbotron during breaks in the game to congratulate Kanye on his birthday.
Did I mention none of this show is available to the public? One might say this would be considered extreme, but hey, it’s not every day Yeezy turns 38.
