Still waiting for a home, Norrington has been with us since October when he was brought in as a stray. He had many battle scars from living on the streets: a ruptured eye, broken teeth, a torn ear and he was suffering from severe dehydration. He has come a long way since then, thanks to a couple of surgeries and the excellent care he received while recuperating in a foster home. Norrington’s foster family loved him so much they even set up a Facebook page (Norrington – the pirate who needs a home) just for him, in hopes of finding him a new home soon.

Baby Blue Despite my rather manly appearance, I am actually a 60 pound baby. See that little twisty tail nub on my rear? My whole body wiggles when I wag my nub! And I wag my nub whenever you spend a little time with me. I am going to be 2 years old in April but I still feel like a puppy. I am a pure bred American Staffordshire terrier. That means I am sort of short and stout like a teapot. Don’t you think I have the cutest smooshy lips? All the better to kiss you with! How about a cuddle? I love to sit in laps! And I am also housebroken! I am a bit scared of being in the kennel. I do not like being behind bars like I was a criminal or something bad. So I may bark when I’m in my kennel æcause I want to be outside with you! I am a friendly, sociable fellow, curious and happy. I am not a big fan of cats, so I won’t be a happy around them. I’m pretty smart since I know how to sit and lie down. But I am mostly interested in being with my person, giving kisses and hugs, being petted and rubbed and knowing I am loved. I like to play, but due to my size I probably play a little too rough for kids under 12. When the Executive Director got in my kennel for some cuddle-time I knocked her glasses off I was so happy to kiss her! You must be 21 to adopt me
