Is It Wrong to Buy Flowers for Your Girlfriend’s Friend to Cheer Her Up?

Flowers

You can learn a lot about yourself by how you respond to this . . .

There’s a story going viral right now that’s bringing out some STRONG opinions on social media.

A 21-year-old woman named Abigail Gibson is a student at Ball State University in Indiana.  And one of her closest friends recently dumped her boyfriend after she found out he’d cheated on her.

Abigail’s boyfriend is a 21-year-old guy named Max Kupfer.  And he bought FLOWERS for Abigail’s friend to cheer her up.

He asked Abigail before he did it, and Abigail says her friend was so happy to get the flowers that, quote, “it almost made her cry” . . . but the Internet didn’t see it that way.

After Abigail tweeted about it, the story went viral . . . and LOTS of people weighed in on how they wouldn’t want their significant other buying flowers for someone else.

One woman tweeted, quote, “Yeah my boyfriend will not be giving my best friend flowers” . . . and the tweet has gotten 80,000 likes.

Guys, could we get away with this?
