All of social media just turned into an old folks’ home. The cool new thing now is to download the FaceApp to your smart phone and turn yourself into the crypt keeper.

Here’s the thing… We’re probably all in trouble because we didn’t read the terms and conditions. According to Fox59, the Russian-developed app says:

You grant FaceApp a perpetual, irrevocable, nonexclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, fully-paid, transferable sub-licensable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, publicly perform and display your User Content and any name, username or likeness provided in connection with your User Content in all media formats and channels now known or later developed, without compensation to you.

Bummer. Basically, if you have uploaded a photo to the app, it goes to their cloud for analysis. And now they have the pic… But if you think about it, people are complaining about this predicament on the same apps they use to post their other pics, birthdays, email addresses, family drama, and the food they just made.

So actually, everything is probably the same and the Russians can just see what you look like as an oldie.
