Here’s What You Can And Can’t Take Into To Indianapolis Motor Speedway This Weekend

The weekend you’ve been waiting for is finally here! So make sure you’re prepared and don’t have to throw items away at the gate.

You can actually bring in a lot of item including a cooler, food and beverages and a camera. But, there are some limitations on those and some items that ARE NOT allowed. So check the list below so you know before you go!

ALLOWED

  • Coolers are allowed in the race, but they can be no bigger than 18”x14”x14”. They are NOT allowed in for Legends Day or the VIP Deck on Carb Day.
  • Food and beverages
  • Binoculars, scanners and cameras are allowed, however no professional cameras are allowed in concert areas.
  • Camera stands are allowed outside of the concert areas but sorry, but NO selfie sticks.
  • You can bring in umbrellas, but don’t be a jerk with them and make sure other people can see.
  • Carts and wagons
  • Audio and Video Recording Equipment. These are not allowed within concert areas.
  • Strollers, lawn chairs and folding camping chairs.
  • Flags are allowed, but same rule as umbrellas. Just don’t try to bring them into the concerts.
  • Camelbacks

NOT ALLOWED

  • Duh doy—weapons, including pocketknives, firearms and ammunition, of any kind
  • Fireworks and flares
  • Flagpoles
  • Drones
  • Selfie Sticks
  • Animals that aren’t service animals
  • Lasers
  • Roller blades, skateboards, skates, hover boards and scooters
  • Glass containers.
  • Stickers/Flyers
  • Illegal drugs or drug paraphernalia
  • Aerosol cans…which probably includes sunscreen so just get the tube or regular bottle
